1. Who We Are
Canvassly ("we", "our", or "us") is a field sales CRM operated by SAB Unlimited Inc. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Canvassly mobile app and website (collectively, the "Service").
2. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account we collect your email address and an optional display name. If you add company details those are stored as well (business name, address, phone, logo).
Location Data
With your permission, we access your device's precise location to display your position on the map and allow you to drop pins. Location data is associated with your account and stored on our servers so you can review past activity.
Health Data
With your permission, the iOS app reads your step count from Apple HealthKit to display walking activity during sales sessions. We never write data to HealthKit, and step data is never shared with third parties or used for advertising.
Business Data
The Service stores customers, jobs, quotes, invoices, pins, and live session data that you create. This data belongs to you and is stored in our database hosted on Supabase.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and improve the Service
- To authenticate your identity and manage your account
- To display your location on the map and record pins
- To track your walking activity during sessions (with your permission)
- To sync your data across your devices
- To send transactional emails (e.g., password resets)
We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
4. Data Sharing
We share data only with the following service providers:
- Supabase — database hosting and authentication
- Vercel — website hosting
- Stripe — subscription billing (we do not store your payment card details)
- Apple — HealthKit data remains on-device and is never transmitted to our servers for advertising or data-mining purposes
We do not share your data with any other third parties unless required by law.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the Settings screen in the iOS app. When you delete your account, all of your data — including pins, customers, jobs, documents, and sessions — is permanently removed from our servers.
6. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), secure authentication tokens, and row-level security on our database to protect your data. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your account and all associated data
- Withdraw consent for location or health data access at any time via your device settings
8. Children's Privacy
Canvassly is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the Service or by other means. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
